To celebrate the recent Earth Day, Mackenzie Investments has partnered with Tree Canada to plant a tree in my name to support greener, healthier communities across Canada. 2,000 trees are being planted towards the Little Trees-Big Trees Reforestation Project which is part of the McLeod Lake Indian Band Reforestation Project in British Columbia as a result! Each tree is planted through Tree Canada’s National Greening Program, a mass seedling program which is helping to grow hundreds of hectares of forest across the country to sequester and store carbon year after year. https://treecanada.ca/reforestat/national-greening-program/

I had the opportunity to listen to former VP Al Gore today on the state of the world's climate crisis on Elevate Earth Day 2021, live from Toronto, Ontario. Although climate change is a harsh reality, he did leave some room for optimism! Thanks to Mackenzie Investments for hosting this event.

November is Financial Literacy Month! Here are the first of ten tips I will be sharing from the Canadian Financial Literacy Database. 1. Build good financial habits. This means educating yourself on basic financial terms such as good debt vs bad debt, terms of a mortgage and how they impact your payment schedule, tax deferral using RRSPs, what kinds of products you can put into a TFSA, budgeting, and many more. To learn more about these financial topics and more, check out my blog posts: https://www.greenfeldfinancial.com/blog. #FLM #financialliteracymonth
