We are sad to announce that our Garden puppers Oakley passed away a little over a week ago, at the age of 12'ish. She loved her veggies and was a loyal companion for Opa, who always said she was a good dog, but just not sure what she was good for... She was a reliable woofer and greeter, helped control the pigeon population, and was a better mouser than any of her cat pals. She was friendly with guests, great with kids, and loved adventures out in the countryside - not to ...mention all the love, attention and sandwiches from our gardeners. Keep an eye on the road Bird Dog, and Rest in Peace on your very own bed of Daylilies forever... we'll miss you.

You can feel it in the air, folks... the days are getting shorter, the nights a bit crisper. There is a strong risk of frost overnight tonight so, despite the wind, please try to cover your tender crops like tomatoes and squash today!

We just wanted to let everyone know that our ol' puppers Oakley hasn't been feeling well lately. She's not been eating much, and has lost a lot of weight this summer. Not sure how much longer she'll be with us, but we will take all the prayers for her comfort and well-being that we can get for her now... #WayOfLife #Besties #ourtimetogether

Environment Canada just issued a Severe thunderstorm watch for the Edmonton area including Beaumont. The main heavy cell will be on top of pigeon lake any minute and is tracking straight east. Keep an eye on the sky folks! #ABstorm #SevereThunderstormWatch
