We have put up caution signs on the two water crossing (Moose Alley and Dudley Kill) Please be careful when crossing. As snow levels increase the banks will get higher.
Please be considerate and leave the trails to the snowmobiles. Quads leave deep grooves that are hard to smooth out with the groomers. Thank you
Happy New Year to everyone!Happy New Year to everyone!
The Green Lake Snowmobile Club parking lot has now been plowed. This will allow access to field and trails. Thanks to Bob Bell for his work . The clubhouse remains closed.

Please remember only the Green Lake Snowmobile Club trails are open in the Elephant Hill Fire area. Some of the trails are also marked closed due to fire damage. Have fun but be safe.
Unfortunately we will have to cancel the Fishing Derby this year due to COVID-19. Hoping to be back next year bigger and better. Stay safe everyone.
Effective at noon today, April 16, 2020, most open burning activities will be prohibited throughout British Columbia to reduce the likelihood of human-caused wi...ldfires. These prohibitions apply to all public and private land within British Columbia (unless specified otherwise by a local government bylaw) and affect the following activities: * Category 2 open fires; * Category 3 open fires; * Resource Management open fires; * the use of fireworks; * the use of sky lanterns; and * the use of burn barrels or burn cages of any size or description (except when used for a campfire). More information on open fires, as well as current bans and restrictions, can be found below. http://ow.ly/jYpq30qyltP
Regarding BC Parks Closure: We tried to share some key messaging about the BC Parks closure with our ridership earlier today but due to Facebook settings regard...ing link sharing our message is not being attached to the share. So here is our message again with no links :) Please see release on BC Parks website and social media announcing the closure of all Park Land in BC. We have several snowmobile clubs with trails on Park Land that this will affect. So please be sure to know before you go where Park Land is in your area. You can use the interactive BC Parks map found on their website. But as of now, this order does not apply to crown land or snowmobile trails that are not located in a Park. Recreation Sites and Trails BC (RSTBC) had previously closed all snowmobile club operations including grooming, shelters, and trail collecting relating to crown land back on March 20th. This remains unchanged but snowmobile trails remain open for LOCAL use only! If you do ride please follow the recommendations of the Provincial Health Officer: practice social distancing, do not travel together unless you are from the same household, ride conservatively to limit pressure on emergency service and limit your riding to your LOCAL community. Do not travel to neighboring communities or come from out of Province to snowmobile in BC during COVID-19 measures. If we do not limit our recreation to LOCAL use only we should expect that RSTBC may be forced to follow the actions of BC Parks. More information relating to closures on Crown Land can be found on RSTBC website. #nolinks #keymessaging #covid19 #localrecreationonly
We advised everybody to keep good spacing"
Please be advised that the fire department at this time can not take your bottles and cans due to Corvid-19 concerns. If you could please hang onto them until ...further notice. At that time we will have a rather large bottle sort. Thank you for understanding. Hopefully this will be over soon. See more
Going forward Sunday/Wednesday Rides for March will be on informal basis depending on who show up and weather. Meet at the clubhouse at 10:00 am to see if anyone is going. Will post on Facebook and email if something special comes up. March 2 Annual General Meeting at the clubhouse at 7:00 pm. If you want to help the club please consider volunteering at the AGM. The more help the easier it becomes.
Memorial Ride Feb 23, 2020 6 riders went out to Jeep Lake, (met up with 2 moose there), and returned to the Clubhouse for a hot dog lunch with the non-riders. ...In all, 32 people attended. John Nesbit read the list of late members and related a few memorable stories, which are always wonderful and fun to hear.
Reminder of the Memorial Ride, Sunday Feb. 23rd. Ride leaves at 10 and back for hot dogs at noon. Bring roasting sticks, although the bar-b-que will also be cooking some wieners, and remember those who have passed. Please join us whether you are a rider or not.
