The Liberals are preparing a multibillion dollar bailout for oil & gas corporations. That money should be going into pockets of the people who need it, not to prop up fossil fuel corporations. Say no to #BigOilBailOut.

This print, Trial of Tears, depicts the struggle of the Wet’suent'en and Gitksan First Nations to hold onto their traditional land. Their landmark court case (D...elgamuukw vs. British Columbia) in 1991 which set the stage for the protests and the ongoing struggle in 2020. The central figure is Mary Johnson when she heard the outcome of that important trial in March of 1991. The coppers, broken and whole, represent the unresolved First Nation land question. The two Trees of Life symbolize the strong ties Indigenous people have to the land. The four white ravens, represent the Canadian justice system, which, like the trickster, can be duplicitous and devious.

It's like we need to upgrade to a proportional voting system.
