Today, as of 1:00pm EST, Premier Doug Ford has announced a provincial lockdown commencing on December 26th up until January 23rd, 2021. We will continue to be open until we hear from our governing body, the CMTO, advising us to close. We will keep you updated in the next few days. In the meanwhile, please stay safe!

We have been following the strict safety protocols mandated by the CMTO since we opened on June 13th. We will remain OPEN until further notice.

To our Valued Clients; Thank you for doing your part to stay home and flatten the COVID-19 curve. We’ve missed you and we’re looking forward to seeing you again soon! We’ll be gradually opening our doors on June 13, 2020, following the mandated protocols issued by the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO). Priority will be given to those with essential care needs - those patients whose health and function would decline greatly if treatment was not provided.... We’ll be asking you a series of health questions before we confirm your booking. During treatment, your RMT will be wearing a surgical/procedure mask as mandated by the CMTO. RMTs do not need to use gloves for most treatments, but one can be worn during the treatment period at your request. All linens, blankets and pillows used are changed after each treatment and professionally cleaned. Your RMT has completed personal protective equipment (PPE) and infection prevention & control training required by the CMTO. Please observe the following during your visit: â Please arrive five minutes before your appointment. No waiting will be allowed at the reception area, your RMT will lead you to your treatment room just in time for your appointment. â You MUST wear a facemask throughout your visit, especially during the duration of the treatment period. If you dont have one, we can provide you one for a very small fee. â Please sanitize your hands upon entering and exiting the clinic. Sanitizers will be available at the reception desk. â Please take off your shoes and leave them by the front foyer. Slippers will be provided for your use during the treatment. We’ll be calling to re-book appointments cancelled due to Covid-19, then we’ll book requests we've received through email and phone. Note that we will not be booking couples massages at this time. Hello Green Orchid Wellness Subscribers! We have been non-active on our Facebook page for awhile, so here's a video of what we've been up to! Last month September, we commemorated 9/11 with the Firefighters of Durham as they represented the Annual Firefit Championship held in Delpark Homes Centre in Oshawa. We demo'ed massage therapy to the participants and organizers. It was an amazing event to be a part of, hopefully we can do it again next year!

Not only did we feel relief post treatment, Rex was also very gentle, professional, and knows his stuff inside-out.
