Birds fly a long way and travel from one country to another. Their chances of survival decrease when there is loss of wintering and stopover along the way. ENG: Tuna and tuna-like species are are in high demand worldwide due to being indispensable source of food and of great importance economically for both developed and developing countries. According to UN reports, approximately 7 million tonnes of tuna are harvested yearly. For this very reason, sustainable tuna plays a crucial role for the future in terms of food security, sustainable development, and financial opportunities. In this respect, we need to bring regulations in...to harvesting and stop illegal, unreported, and deteriorating tuna fishing. Another course of action can be decreasing the level of marine pollution by considerably reducing marine debris in order to prevent unnatural decrease of tuna.
