Re: trail access from Alma: Currently the best way to access the trail from town is to go up School Street and there is a grown over road on the left side with a white "No Parking" barricade. You ARE allowed to go through there it is a right of way - just park your car at the parking lot at the bottom of the hill. Once you enter that road go up the hill and you will find the trail.

all deadfalls and major obstacles/branches have been cleared the trail is in great shape and ready to use
