She guards you on your spiritual path I am not a practicing Buddhist but the name we share and the message of Green Tara has resonated deeply with me since my yoga teacher training ... she is compassionate yet strong and connecting with her through mantra and meditation will increase the love and compassion you give to others. BIRTH Is beautiful, messy, miraculous, scary, and takes STRENGTH Strength to release control Strength to cry, to scream, to moan... Strength to trust your body, your Dr, your midwife, your partner, your doula, your nurse... The world slowed down for many of us..... giving an opportunity for reflection. I understand not everyone is provided with this privilege to reflect , reassess , focus on themselves. The privilege to take a step back and slow it down. I am aware daily of my privilege and I accept it with gratitude. My family, my circumstances , my home. ... So the question becomes how can I serve others? How can I be more present for my children, those that I guide in my yoga classes, healing sessions, my friendships, my marriage .... Don’t feel guilty for your privilege but don’t ever take it for granted . Let me introduce myself Maybe you’ve never met me, maybe we’ve crossed paths, maybe you are part of my tribe, family, circle either way here are a few things about me.... I live in St Albert, AB. Married 16 years and Mom to two teenagers which makes me over 40 .... as of now I’m not hating the teenage years, to be honest preteen was tougher but over all my kids are pretty great ... I am a yoga teacher and I love it. My fave classes to teach include anything with the Chakras, Yin/Yang, and Prenatal (thanks @mamatayoga for being my mentor and trainer!) I also am a practitioner of Reiki, Reflexology, and Flower Essences working mostly out of my my home. Grew up on a pig farm and as a result love nature, animals, outdoors, horseback riding, long walks, and sitting around the fire with a glass of red wine I’m not a vegetarian but as of right now my son is . Other random facts... I love to downhill ski, I have a degree in Psychology, I have a great circle of friends/family, I love tequila (@4upersonaltraining ), My husband and I can turn anything into a song (just ask our kids) .
