We will be closed for the day on Monday, August 3rd for BC Day.

We will be close for Canada on Wednesday, July 1st and will re-open Thursday, July 2nd at 9am.

We will stop taking new online orders at 5 pm today due to a large number of orders waiting to be processed. We expect current orders to be cleared from the queue over the next 3 to 4 days. Once orders are cleared we will re-open the order form. We are planning on a trying a limited re-opening of Green Thumb Garden Centre on either Monday April 20th or Tuesday April 21st. Our top priority is protecting our team as well as our customers. Below is a list of some of the step...s we will be taking - Open to the public from 9 am to 5 pm - Only 15 customer groups at a time ( 2 people max per group, either partners or parent child) - Self service only (our staff will be available at a customer service desk at the doors to our store building) - No browsing - You can see our availability online prior to shopping to decide what you are looking for. - We will only be taking credit, debit, gift card or tree voucher payments at this time. - Once we have cleared the online order for pickup back log we will resume taking online orders. We will have a dedicated pickup spot and for those that need to ensure absolute social distancing we will have only scheduled pickups from 4 pm to 6 pm. - The new entrance will be around the side of the front house (look for the signs) - Please keep 2 meters distance from other customers. - Absolutely no physical or verbal harassment will be tolerated. You will be asked to leave immediately without your product. If you refuse to social distance or follow instructions from our staff you will be asked to leave as well. If you have questions we will only be able to answer them via email at this time due to call volumes. Thank you for your understanding and help through these times.

We will be closed on Friday for the holiday to give our team a short break from the crazy pace of order pulling and setting up a new system. We are still closed to walk-in customers however more Vegetable, Herb and Fruit starters have arrived! We have just received a fresh shipment of veggies, herbs, greens, tomatoes and strawberry starts! These have been updated on the inventory lists and are now available for ordering via email. Please remember to use the order form and check it to make sure you have everything you need prior to emailing it to assist us in getting your order ready quickly. Hello gardeners! For those that are wondering, yes, we are open!we are continuing with our regular store hours of Monday through Sunday, 8:30 to 5 p.m. however, we do ask that if you've recently return from a trip, or are feeling unwell (coughing, sore throat, runny nose, etc.),that you please stay at home. On that note, you can call in and purchase items over the phone for a delivery, and we will email you your receipt. We are not taking any cash payments at the moment, and only credit or debit. Delivery service is $35 if you're located in Nanaimo. Deliveries will happen throughout the week, when we have a full truck, and we will place your plants in your front driveway (no backyards or any exceptions) for you.
