Happy Mother’s Day! Today we took time to appreciate the care and hard work of the ladies in our community with some treats and fresh flowers!

Today is Cinco De Mayo! To celebrate, we enjoyed some afternoon mimosas while learning about the history of this holiday and the important victory that it highlights

We would like to extend a warm thank you to our friends at Creators’ Joy for their spring card delivery to our residents. Creators’ Joy is a non-profit organization on a mission to spread the joy of handmade cards to various communities. They have provided us with beautiful cards throughout this past year and we love to see the smiles they bring to our residents!

Today at Greenview we used bright colours to help boost our moods from the gloomy weather outside Painting is an effective and fun form of art therapy that stimulates muscles and connectivity through movement while simultaneously improving mood and stress levels

We LOVE flowers at Greenview! Today we crafted some origami tulips to help spread smiles

Sending a warm Thank You to our friends at Members Church of God International for their kind donation to our staff this afternoon. As part of their "The Legacy Continues Feeding Project" they are working to provide lunch to frontline staff across the world. We are so grateful for their delicious donation which brought big smiles to all of our staff this afternoon. They will be back again to provide meals for our evening and night staff in the near future!

April 6th is National Tartan Day, a commemoration day in North America to celebrate Scottish independence. This afternoon we learned about the history of the Scottish tartan, and got to craft up some of our own creations while enjoying a Scottish classic- shortbread!

Gardening is a well loved activity here at Greenview. We are excited to get our outdoor garden ready for the season! From all of us at Greenview, we wish you a safe and Happy Easter! We brought the fun to Greenview this weekend with a Saturday afternoon egg hunt and a Sunday afternoon Happy Hour with wine spritzers and cupcakes. Tonight our residents will enjoy a delicious turkey dinner prepared by our Dietary Team

We would like to extend a very special Thank You to the Mental Health and Wellness Committee at Leaside High School for providing our residents with beautiful handmade cards sending well wishes and positive affirmations for this coming year! These cards brought big smiles this afternoon! We are so thankful for the continued support we receive from our community members.
