We are pleased to hear the much anticipated Atlantic Bubble will begin on July 3. We welcome our Atlantic Canadian neighbours and look forward to having you stay at our cottage for a relaxing vacation! GovernmentHealth and Wellness Atlantic Provinces Travel Bubble News Release - PEI to participate in Atlantic travel bubble starting July 3 Starting Friday, July 3 Atlantic Canadians travelling within the region will not need to self-isolate for 14 days Islanders and fellow Atlantic Canadians travelling within the region will not need to self-isolate for 14 days. However, some public health and screening measures will be maintained as part of the travel bubble: Atlantic visitors to Prince Edward Island will be required to complete a self-declaration form online and provide a copy of the completed form at points of entry to the province (form will be available before July 2); public health and proof of residency screening will be maintained at points entry to all Atlantic Canadian provinces; all Atlantic Canada residents, including seasonal residents, should continue to practice physical distancing, regular hand washing, stay home if feeling unwell and contact a primary care provider or call 8-1-1 to be directed to testing for COVID-19. This time of year, we will begin to see Piping Plovers return to our PEI National Park beaches for their breeding season! Our domestic animal ban is in effect ...from April 1 to October 15 each year, which helps protect the Piping Plover nesting areas and migratory shorebirds feeding along our shoreline. While beach and trail use is currently discouraged at Parks Canada sites in an effort to #FlattenTheCurve, this is an important reminder that the domestic animal ban is still in place. The Piping Plover has been designated as endangered or at risk of extinction by the Committee on the Status of Wildlife in Canada (COSEWIC) since 1985. Dogs and other animals threaten plover breeding territory selection, and the domestic animal ban is one method used to reduce pressure on these birds during critical life phases.

Alright folks! Tomorrow is the big day! We will open for business from 11-7. We would just like to outline our procedures one last time to ensure the smooth ope...ration for everyone. In the picture below, you can see that we have placed a picnic table outside the takeout. No one will be permitted past this table. Our menu and ice cream flavours are attached for your viewing in case you don’t yet have a menu. We will also provide you with a menu when you pick up your order. The menu can also be found on our Facebook page and on our website at www.linstakeout.com To place an order you can phone ahead at 902-961-2813 or, if you choose to drive here, first we ask that you put on your four way lights so that we know you are here. When you place an order on the phone you will be given a number. We ask that you please remember this number as it will help our staff keep track of all the orders. When you arrive to pick up your order we also ask that you phone the takeout and tell us that you are here along with what car you are driving. We are very excited to be open for another great season and we hope everyone will follow the rules outlined by Dr. Morrison to ensure the safety of everyone and so that we can stay open all summer! Good morning ! I decided it is time to let everyone know what is going on at Lin’s ! It has been hard to decide what to do in these unbelievable times but I hav...e decided to reopen in a couple of weeks as usual! There will be many changes to our service as to keep everyone safe & healthy! As to social distance we would ask you to call in your order or to stay in your vehicle put your lights on for service and we will come take your order! You will not be permitted to come to window or stay & eat in our building ! I am not sure at this time if I can get menus sent out in mail but I will post it on Facebook , My Website & put one in with your order!I am looking forward to seeing everyone again From a distance Lol ! If anyone has any other suggestions or input would be glad to hear them ! I will keep you posted on when opening day is and hopefully things are better by then I know these are difficult times with no work or not sure if you will have a job to go to so for me as well I am going to give it a try and see how things go to be able to keep the doors open !
