Ok, I've had quite some time to think about this today. I'm trying to be as polite and professional as possible. I understand that we have ALL been under some sort of stress or another since this lockdown, I get that we finally get to go out and I completely understand all the ups and downs of getting back into routine. That said, I am here to say that if you are to call OUR shop and look for a repair or wish to speak to Jerry during regular business hours, you may be requir...ed to leave a name and number so that he can call you back. Please do NOT call my staff a "Bitch" on the phone and hang up. You will no longer be welcomed back as a client. As well, Jerry will not just drop a job to come running outside just to take a look at something just because that person demands that he do so. Book an appointment, wait your turn, and SHOW RESPECT to any and ALL staff on hand in order to receive the same in return. Marsha has been hired to run the office, book the appointments, answer the phone, do up the paper work, collect the money and answer your questions to the best of her ability before coming out to find out the proper answer if she is uncertain. SHOW HER JUST AS MUCH RESPECT AS YOU WOULD SHOW YOUR MOTHER!!!!! You do NOT need to raise your voice to her, get nasty, nor make her feel unsafe to the point of calling the police. Should this persist, and you feel the need to be ignorant, then PLEASE do us a favour and find another place that will tolerate your behaviour and ignorance. I'm sorry it has come to this but there is NO business out there that should have to put their employees through this kind of thing. Simply put, If you can't respect honest people trying to make an honest living to provide for their families then please just stay away. Thank you, Jerry

I would like to put out a request, if you are too call the shop please be advised that Jerry will not be there one answering the phone, but our advisor Marsha will be that person, if you come in then you will find Jerry working and Marsha behind the counter. My request would be that you please treat our staff with respect and NOT get an attitude on with her because Jerry will not come to the phone or come right out to chat and answer questions. He is the only mechanic in the ...shop and if he takes time away from jobs then it takes longer for everyone's vehicle to be repaired. Please do respect to all staff as you would in any other garage. No clients in the shop, no need to get in advisors face, she is only doing the job that she was hired to do. The rules and regulations are in place to help us run as smoothly as possible so every job can be done in a timely manner and to try and keep everyone as happy as possible. If there is no respect to be shown to the staff of Greevink's Mechanical then I am sorry to say but we will no longer accept your business. I do understand that we all have bad days but that is no reason to disrespect anyone that is strictly doing the job that they were hired for and following the rules that they have been asked to do. Your understanding is most appreciated.

We now offer an air conditioned waiting area for you to relax and sit while waiting for smaller jobs to be complete. We do ask that you call ahead to book an appointment for repairs as we are a small staff but still ready to complete the task at hand. Marsha Richie is now our advisor and receptionist that will greet you upon entering the office and answering the phone. She will be happy to set up an appointment for you and do her best to answer any questions that you may hav...e. The technician is hard at work and is not always able to come to the phone, so feel free to leave a message if necessary and he will get back to you as soon as he can. We are trying to grow in order to serve you better, so please work with us so that we can make the transition as smooth as possible for everyone involved. We now have the same number but it is strictly a landline, we will no longer be able to receive any text messages in regards to making any appointments, inquiries, or questions. Due to switching to a landline, our debit machine is currently down, we are looking into rectifying that situation today. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Sorry for being a little behind on the info. As of tomorrow now June 25th we will no longer be able to respond to text messages for booking appointments. The number is going to become a landline, so please give us a call to set an appointment for any and all your repair needs. Also we will be glad to introduce you to our staff and our advisor will be glad to greet you upon entering our new waiting area. Due to insurance policies, we can no longer allow clients to enter the garage area without authorization or accompaniment of staff. We hope you understand and we look forward to continuing to serve you in the future to keep you vehicles mobile. Again our apologies for the delay, the timing of the phone lines have not been lining up.

June 3rd is the first day at the new location. 9 Degge St. Chatham. Same hours 8-5pm, Mon - Fri.

As of May 31, 2019 Greevink's Mechanical will no longer be located at 630 Grand Ave E. I am pleased to announce that we will be moving to 9 Degge St. A bigger and more accessable location. We look forward to seeing you there as of June 3rd. Thanks for the patronage that has been able to make the dream of growing come true. As of May 23 & 24, we will only be able to small repairs due to the moving of the hoists. The following week we will be moving and doing small repairs until the end of the month.
