Hello, our friend Harold Sands experienced damage to his home in The Bahamas from Hurricane Matthew and could use our help. We are hoping you can help him out by donating what you can and sharing the link with your Greggs friends who have worked with Harold in the past. We will post more photos of the damage to his home as we get them. All funds raised will go directly to Harold. Thank you!

Well be doing all the interior renovations on the vessel.
Our Temporary Accounting Assistant was found sleeping on the job.
The Better Business Bureau of Vancouver Island and HeroWork have joined forces to raise money and recruit volunteers for the radical renovation of the Rainbow Kitchen. The two organizations are actively recruiting people with much-needed skill sets to volunteer some time, labour and resources to assist with the three-weekend renovation, set to begin Sept. 16. Please share this call for volunteers with your friends in the local Victoria construction industry. See more at: http://www.timescolonist.com//our-community-rainbow-kitche
No matter how vast the sea, sometimes two ships are destined to meet. Congratulations to our GMI front desk superstar, Raegan who tied the knot this weekend! Many happy returns Raegan and Brian.
One of our travel partners is having a contest celebrating frequent travellers and all the days they spend on the road. Winner gets an all-inclusive sun vacation for two! You can enter by submitting a story (funny, crazy, cringe-worthy, noteworthy) from your days and nights travelling for work. Were pretty sure that from all of the hundreds of thousands of miles our crews have logged, someone in our Greggs crew can nab this prize. Plus everyone who votes will be entered to win a Voters Prize two hotel nights so friends of friends are strongly encouraged to vote!
To all GMI contractors and crew; please note that airlines are recommending that you should be at the airport 90 minutes before domestic departures and 120 minutes for international departures. We have had several instances lately where our travellers are being denied passage because they are showing up to the airport outside the check-in cut-off times. Having a ticket does not mean they will let you on the flight if you are outside the check-in cut-off times - even if it is... within a few minutes. http://www.aircanada.com/en/travelinfo/airport/checkin.html https://www.westjet.com//travel/basics/check-in/times.shtml Please check-in online ahead of time whenever possible. Thank you for your cooperation.
A windy start to the refit. Stay safe everyone.
