Good day to all the constituents in Deh Cho. Please find the first posting of my Election Platform. I will be posting something new most days and would appreciate you sharing with Your Friends. Election Platform: -Work diligently to help resolve outstanding land claims... -Decentralize government services to provide more access to each community -Create a Green Energy division of ITI within constituency -Complete a cost benefit analysis for Housing First in each community -Extend the FP airport runway to accommodate faster medical travel, mine workers and large group air travel -More concrete support for mushroom pickers -All On The Land studies should use local monitors and a training program -Apprentice positions with DPW, highways and housing for electricians, plumbers and carpentry -Convert old medical centre to Extended Care facility -Additional On the Land drug and alcohol programs -Increase Rangers Presence -HEO training in anticipation of continued Mackenzie Highway completion -Monitors for fishermen; and -Better support for NWT students studying outside the NWT I will be consulting with all local governments for issues important to the communities over the next two weeks.
