Ethan Taylor is an IGA Bursary recipient for 2020-2021! Ethan is from Black Duck Cove and is a graduate of Viking Trail Academy in Plum Point. He is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts at Memorial University of Newfoundland - Grenfell Campus and his ambition is to obtain a PhD in counselling psychology and have his own private practice. We are wishing him all the best in his future endeavors! Congratulations Ethan!

As the IGA has recently been receiving inquiries regarding our Bursary program, please be advised that the process for applying for 2021-2022 Bursaries is not yet open. The online application process will be opened in early January. Please be sure to check the IGA website or our Facebook page for updates. If you have any further questions or concerns, please feel free to contact the IGA office!

Just another reminder to all current IGA Bursary recipients for 2020-2021, please send your proof of enrollment letters for the Winter 2021 semester to the IGA office as soon as possible. The IGA will only issue payments for January upon receipt of this information with payments being sent in the mail on or about January 4th, 2021. Erin Dempster from Flowers Cove is an IGA Bursary recipient for 2020-2021! Erin is a graduate of Canon Richards Memorial Academy and is now a student at the College of the North Atlantic. She is studying practical nursing and hopes to one day become a nurse. The IGA is very proud to be affiliated with her! Congratulations Erin!

Erica Cadwell is another IGA Bursary recipient for 2020-2021! Erica is from Charlottetown and is a graduate of William Gillett Academy. She is completing a Doctor of Pharmacy at Memorial University of Newfoundland - St. John’s and her ambition is to become a pharmacist. We are very pleased to award her with this Bursary!
