What has kept you occupied during this shutdown? Here is my latest project. It is called "he loves me, he loves me not' Remember the game we played pulling off the petals of flowers. Oh, what fun.

I would like to introduce the present board of the Gretna Prairie Centre to you. They are: Tina Penner-secretary and buyer ,Jamie Dyck-finances, Judieth Wiebe-member-at-large, Tim Penner-president ,Ray Mierau-Facility and maintenance. We would welcome one more member-at-large to join us. Thank you for all your commitment to the community.

We are coming to the time of our year where the board of the Centre are beginning to focus on the General Meeting coming up in January. This year especially will be crucial to the function of the Centre. I believe we are desperately reaching out to all the community people to come alongside and help out in some way. Please, we are begging for you to come and enjoy, visit when possible again to open . It is all about volunteering. If done right it is very rewarding. I know, I have been volunteering for all of my adult life, now my body tells me time to step aside, give others the opportunity. My thought: " Give to others with no expectation of receiving anything in return." Have a blessed Christmas season.
