Our firm, with partner Lawren Wowk on the file, was able to successfully get a resolution in this notable family law case. , . , , . . DPH and RCC were in 25 year cohabiting relationship ending in 2016. This was a traditional relationship raising 4 children together. ... DPH claims partner support from RCC and a constructive trust over the property owned by RCC. This chambers application dealt with the partner support issue. RCC sought to dismiss the partner support claim based on a limitation of action issues. RCC position was that DPH’s partner support claim was statute barred. DPH’s position was that that a limitation defence was not available for partner support. The Court determined that RCC has no limitation defence. RCC was ordered to pay partner support to DPH in the monthly sum of $2,000.00 commencing 1 April 2020. RCC was further ordered to pay $1,000.00 in costs to DPH. The balance of the applications were adjourned. , : https://bit.ly/38MiUoH

If you own any chickens in Quitman, Georgia, it is illegal to let them cross the road. #FunFactFriday Simply put, the law essentially wants owners to have their chickens under control at all times. This makes sense when you imagine the danger of letting farm animals run about, but the specificity of the law about not allowing chickens to cross the road rings true to the joke and makes for a funny read.

He played volleyball for the University of Regina Cougars from 2001-2004 and was named the player of year for both the 2002-2003 and 2003-2004 seasons. He still holds a number of match and season records for the Cougars.
