Powwow is getting close folks. Lots of stuff happening. Make sure you're registered for vendor, dancer, drum, Ogichidaa and Ogichidaa Kwe. It will he here sooner than you know. Can't wait to see everyone there.

Attention Garden River Band Members: Do you have a little Ogichidaa or Ogichidaa Kew you would like to register for our contest? Send a message, ask for more information. We can send you the application form. Some of the criteria is as follows: Must be a GRFN BAND MEMBER (Open to On and Off-Reserve Membership) ... Must be returning to school in the fall Must be age 3-16 years of age (can serve 1 year, not run the following year and run again the following year) Must provide one (1) letter of interest. Must submit a signed Declaration Form understanding Rules and Guidelines Pow-Wow Regalia required Self-introduction/ Question & Answer period with judges and Pow-Wow committee The winner may be asked to participate in community events throughout the year.
