Welcome to 2020 at Grimsby Lawn Bowling Club. Our 125th year. Finally, after the opening delay because of Covid-19 we can consider going back on the greens to practice/train. This will only be able to happen by following all the safety protocols of this pandemic. Grimsby is in Stage 2 so we can have up to 10 people at the greens to practice. Physical distancing, sanitizing, contact tracing just some of the protocols we will have to folllow. Later this week we will send out specifics to members via email and phone.

Our Fall AGM is this Thursday, October 17 at the Livingston Activity Centre at 6:30pm. See you there. It is your club, make sure you come out and participate.

Some of the Grimsby Bowling Club ladies enjoyed the year end lunch at Copetown Golf and Country Club September 18. Everyone looks great.

Our last report from our Ladies inter-club Director. Well Team , We are not covered in glory but I hope you enjoyed your games , meeting other players, experiencing other Greens and Clubhouses. Somebody has to come last but this is the last year it is going to be Grimsby! Keep practising and sign up next spring full of enthusiasm and determination to be on a winning team.
