Grimshaw Minor Ball

We are hosting a Bantam AA information session at the Grimshaw Multiplex Tuesday March 17, 2020 @ 7:00. There has been some interest in our area for a Bantam AA team, and we are looking to see if we would have the numbers to supports this level of play, as well as if we would have the commitment needed to complete the season. All parents and 2005 & 2006 born athletes are welcome to attend. We can share some timeframes and dates. We started out with 3, and we currently have 11 enrolled, and expect to have an additional 3 attend next Tuesdays session, bringing us to 14. Given the interest to the winter session, we feel the area could potential support a Bantam AA team, and potentially grow from that level. Well we had our first session of winter ball...registration is fairly low, but these boys were pretty darn lucky to have some great one on one time with some ex...tremely talented ball players!! WINTER BALL UPDATE Registration was too low to start, but we have made some changes. We are going to cut it back to one two hour session a week, which will be ...held on Tuesday, as opposed to two 1.5 hour sessions. This allows us to run the program with much lower numbers and is hopefully more appealing for the athletes and their parents. The new start date is scheduled for February 4th, and will be held from 7:15-9:15 Tuesday nights only! With instructors Robin and Kyle Atkinson. The program is currently open to all athletes in the area born between 2002-2006 and will cost $225. The first paid 20 athletes will be given the spots. Cheque’s can be made payable to Grimshaw Minor Ball. Please comment, send me a private message or contact me on my cell at 780-618-1833 to obtain a registration package. I will also be trying to make contact with the minor ball associations in the surrounding towns.
