Even in the cold we keep grinding. From the Calgary zoo, to Edmonton, then back to Calgary. We pave throughout all 4 season (if we can). That 30cm dump of snow is gonna keep us off the road till the new year. Wishing everyone a merry Christmas and happy new year, from the everyone at Grindstone Paving & Excavating.

This season has been flying by, and we’ve been busier than ever. We realize we’ve been slacking majorly on the social media posts, so I’m gonna jam as much into this post as I can. We say it every time, and yet it feels like We don’t say it enough. From everyone in the office to the base crews, concrete and paving crews, our employees dedicate their time and effort in providing our clients with quality products. The team work that we have within this group in bar none. Along with all the great work we complete, we always like to make sure that our employees are having a great time at work and out of work. Had the crews shave off the beards and grow a mustache for movember. We will be donating $100 per employee that participated. #movember #mustache #menshealthawareness

Had the Grindstone Company Christmas party last Friday, and it was a huge success. We made sure no one left hungry or thirsty. Big thanks to Bogey’s pub airdrie for hosting us. Also thank to everyone who made it out, from our clients, to our suppliers, and supporters. Most importantly thank you to our road crew, and office personnel, you guys and girls put in all the hard work, and all the hours needed to make this season successful, you guys are the real MVP’s!

This Novembers cold and snow came in strong, but not strong enough to stop the guys at Grindstone. Playing out in the snow, so we can lay some beautiful blacktop for some of our awesome clients.

This season has been busier than we could have expected and it doesn’t seem to be slowing down. We’ve said it before and we will continue to say it. Our biggest thanks goes to all our employees, from office staff to road crews we couldn’t do it without each and everyone of them. And to all our customers, clients, suppliers, and supporters. We wouldn’t be where we are if it weren’t for your continued support. Here are a few of the projects we have completed over the past couple months.

It’s been a non stop this season, we’ve been fortunate to have the best crew in paving. These guys push through all the long days and sleepless nights. They are what it means to be Grindstone.

It’s been a busy start to the season for everyone at Grindstone. We got an early start which had allowed us to get a number of projects done, with a unique one being the gravel prep and paving of the airdrie bmx starting ramp.
