I've unfortunately had to turn off the online booking system. It hasn't been working properly for a couple weeks now. I'm testing out a new system right now and will have the booking tool posted as soon as possible.

There is a major problem with the Facebook booking system. It is sending updates in Eastern time and some of my upcoming appointments are showing on my side as months or decades in the future. If you have any concerns about the time of your appointment please message me.

UPDATE: Mom has been found! Thank you everyone!! Found these two cuties as I was driving home tonight. I've posted in the Auburn Bay pages but still haven't heard anything. I feel like they've been in for a groom before but I just can't place them. Does anyone recognize these two? They're spending the night at GroomTown, hopefully the owners will be found by morning.

Meet Devyn! I've been a little overwhelmed since opening back up. I had to hire some help. She will be returning all my texts and messages over the next little bit so that I can focus on getting all my buddies bathed and groomed.

It's true! GroomTown is opening this week. I have a number of safety precautions in place including contactless drop off and pickup. I request EMT payment if possible. I'm constantly sanitizing! I do request your patience as I contact all my reschedules over the next 24 hours, then I will be going through all my messages. Update: Currently GroomTown will remain closed. Some groomers are being told while complying to social distancing rules they can stay open but other sources are saying we can not. I've gotten word that in Edmonton police have been showing up at grooming studios to close them down. To me that indicates that we are to remain closed until we are given official word to open back up. ... I understand that this can be incredibly frustrating for those that have been waiting patiently to have their pup groomed. As soon as it is safe to do so I will open up and extend my hours to help with the back log. Stay safe and healthy! Nicole

I am just finishing off my isolation and had every intention of opening back up in Monday. With the announcement today that non essential businesses are closing as of 6pm today things are a little unclear. The grooming community is a little confused. Some provinces are requiring groomers to close, others are not because we can conduct business while still remaining 2 meters from people. Please be patient at this time as we seek clarity on this.

To my valued clients, I understand that it can be frustrating that there is a bit of a wait to get in to get your pup groomed. I've been thinking a lot about how to mitigate this for you all. I do find that the way I offer service I may be working harder, not smarter! With the time I pad my schedule with to wait for pick up and drop offs I could fit at least 1 more dog per day. I know that the one on one service is the main reason that you book in with a home studio but I've ...been contemplating overlapping the appointments a bit. I wanted to reach out to you all to get your opinion on this. Of course if your pup does need to be the only pup here I will still be able to accommodate that. What do you think?

Vacation time is hard. Day 3 without grooming. Asked the kids if they wanted a treat. Told them to close their eyes and open their mouths, stuck my finger in instead of the treat. I didn't want my hands getting soft while I'm away.

Vacation time is hard. Day 2 without grooming: caught myself chewing on my daughter's hair. My throat must have been feeling too clear without inhaling hair all day!

I was completely shocked when Global News contacted me about the skunk kits! It is skunk mating season, so they are out more now. What do you do if your dog gets skunked? Your first instinct would be to bathe your dog but that will just cause the oil to set in. You want to blot that oil off, then use a skunk odor remover before you bathe the pup. I also include a product for your carpets or furniture because your dog is going to roll around like crazy to get the smell off th...em, so many times I've heard of a dog who rolled on the couch or across the carpet. I did bring them in for the winter because I didn't want the product to freeze but I have a kit out now. I have Chris working hard on a solution to keep them from freezing over night. The price of the kit fluctuates a bit because it all depends on my cost to source the products. Please contact me with any questions you may have.
