Is your website up to date? Last week I helped two clients whose websites were down. It's never fun to encounter the 'white screen of death'. There are things you can do to make sure this doesn't happen. Firstly, always have a current back up of your website. Update to the latest version of WordPress first and then update any plugins and theme. Delete unused themes and plugins. ... If you can't get into your dashboard, go to your cpanel and navigate to the wp-content folder and then the plugins folder. You can disable the plugins by renaming them. That way you can test one by one to find out which one might cause the problem. Website maintenance is an ongoing task and should not be neglected.
