Just a quick update for our valued customers and general climbing community: The landlord for the gym has chosen not to participate in the provincial rent-deferral program. This has put us into a sticky situation, so we greatly appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate this financial challenge. Please continue to be safe and care for those in need...and follow the advice of our premier: STAY THE BLAZES HOME!

*Effective Monday, March 16th, we sadly had to temporarily close in response to the global pandemic of COVID-19. *We will now remain closed through Thursday, April 30th per the federal extension of the social distancing guidelines. *However, this could change. Having proudly stayed OPEN for our valued customers during hurricanes, power outages, blizzards and windstorms, it is especially difficult to be forced to CLOSE due to a situation so completely beyond our control (covid-19). We will be closed as of 2pm today ...until March 30th, at which point we will REASSESS and inform you of future plans. Thanksgiving is just around the corner! The gym will be OPEN REGULAR HOURS over the weekend but CLOSED MONDAY, October 14th as a gesture of thanks to our dedicated staff and their families!

Good Monday morning, everyone! We plan to be OPEN TODAY FROM 12-6pm (not yet certain about 6-10pm - will update throughout the day). So, if you are not outside enjoying the sunshine, come on in and get your climb on!

Those who know GZ owner, Sean, know that he will typically defy the worst weather and keep the gym open, comme Hell or high water...however it seems like the trend today is to stay tightly closed for the day, so we are going to go with majority rules this time around (a historic moment, folks!) and REMAIN CLOSED TODAY due to the hurricane and tropical storm watches, warnings and alerts. So, batten down the hatches, get your last minute storm chips and STAY SAFE, everyone! We will post here as soon as possible re: tomorrow’s schedule.

We will be OPEN regular hours this weekend (August 31st and September 1st), but CLOSED Monday, September 2nd to give our staff a well-deserved day off after a long, busy Summer! Happy Labour Day weekend! *Check back here soon for information on our junior programs starting in late September...

IMPORTANT NOTICE: early closure tomorrow ONLY (Saturday, July 20th). As you know, the gym is very rarely closed; however, tomorrow we will be closing at 6pm (instead of 8pm). Thank you for your understanding! We hope you will get outside and enjoy this Summery weather!

We are OPEN...and plan to stay open UNTIL 5PM; therefore, closed this evening (when rain and flash freeze is forecast to hit). ***These hours are subject to change due to the weather (ex. fingers crossed we don't lose power!), so PLEASE consider CALLING AHEAD if you plan to head to the gym 902-468-8788.*** Stay safe out there!
