Made a quick stop @mommabearsbakery in Kingsville and donated a few toys to help Andrew at @grouphugapparel with his gift giving campaign for the children at Children's Hospital in London and the Ronald McDonald house. For those who may not know, my younger brother had an open heart surgery performed in London when he was just 4 years old and our family was fortunate enough to have the hel...p of the Ronald McDonald House. I can't imagine the thought of not having our babies home with us for Christmas and I believe that everyone should know they are loved and thought of especially at this time of year. So the least that we can do to possibly bring a smile to someone who needs it, is to put a few special toys aside for someone who needs a smile. So if you've got anything you can spare, take a quick drive to @mommabearsbakery and tell Aunt Dawn we sent you and she will give you 1 free cupcake for donating. Also, it seems only fitting that E wore her "be kind" shirt today from the lovely @beyouheadquarters . Check out all of these beautiful quilts that have been gifted to Andrew from the Erie Shores Quilters' Guild. We received this beautiful message from Sandy Beneteau the charity coordinator of the Guild. We've been busy quilting up a bundle of quilts for Andrew to give to his sick kids project. We currently have 34 quilts to donate to your cause. After speaking with Sandy about Andrews charitable work, she was happy to hear that Andrew will be giving them to young adults ...with intellectual abilities in our community. We will be connecting with @clessexcounty to help him distribute these quilts as Christmas gifts. This wonderful group are busy working on more quilts to help with his campaign. National Down syndrome Awareness Month - Day 26 . We are all capable of achieving goals, living a full life, making friends, accepting and being accepted. Andrew and I had the honour of meeting Joey Moss a couple years ago while he was on vacation. He stopped in at @colasanti_farms where Andrew works. They enjoyed lunch and mini golf with friends and posing for this beautiful picture. Joey was employed with the @edmontonoilers hockey team since 1984 when Wayne Gretzky brough...t him in to work with the team. He touched many hearts throughout his life including ours even in our meeting of one time.
