Today is a very special day. Nickolay van Veenschoten, our Assistant Brewer and arguably the world's perfect man, officially becomes a Canadian citizen this afternoon Hailing from Nieuwerkerk aan den IJssel, Netherlands (just south of Amsterdam and right next to the town where Gouda Cheese was invented), Nicko Suave has been with us since The Grove opened its doors 4 years ago. At only 19 years of age, Nicko's diligence, natural talents and enthusiasm have allowed him to be...come one of the youngest assistant brewers in Windsor/Essex County. In his first days of being a Canadian citizen, Nicko is looking forward to drinking milk out of a bag, binge-watching Degrassi and being fiercely apologetic for trivial occurrences. We're incredibly proud of Nicko and his family for this new chapter in their lives and couldn't be happier to be a part of their journey. Congratulations Nicko!
