Anyone else make sure the smoke detectors are not outdated when staying at Hotels??? When you become a Home Inspector nothing is ever the same. You are always inspecting!!! Much like how a cow is always grazing. Cheers from Canmore

I can attest to this. I have done many inspections for single ladies buying a first home. Always fun helping any first time home buyer by providing a Home Inspection. With any first time Home Buyer (regardless of gender) I really focus on putting myself in their shoes and take my time explaining things like changing furnace filters, installing smoke detectors and winterizing exterior hose taps.
