Growing Young Farmers would like to express our holiday gratitude to all of you who make our program possible! To our educators who work so hard to create and deliver their lessons each and every week! You are the backbone of what we do! To the staff and parents at each school that we work with who consistently support this program and make it happen! Even this year with all your extra workload you took it on because you are amazing! We appreciate you!... To our Board of Directors who volunteer their valuable time to get this program into classrooms because you believe in what we do! You are the roots of this program! And... Last but but NOT least, of course, the students at each school who amaze us every year with all they learn and remember. This is the Fruit of the program! Here's to the sparkle in the eyes of all these children who marvel at the magic of a veggie patch or fruit tree they grew themselves! Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! Like so many, small, not-for-profit organization, our survival is under threat during COVID-19, and the $2,986 from the 1% For The Planet Pass-Through Fund came at just the right time.
