Ok now put your finger tips on your pubic joint and keep them there as you nod your pubic joint forward (downward toward the floor until your hip bones are in the same plane as your pubic joint). Now back your pelvis up as a whole unit until your perineum is over the space between your ankles. Now blossom your butt cheeks. Imagine space in your butt crack. Imagine your sitz bones gliding away from one another. Yes it might feel like you are sticking your butt out because it is such an escape from where you habitually hold yourself. I put on my muscle pants and it may be difficult to see the butt crack but look at the upper inner thighs. Can you see the difference? Often when we grip in the glutes we grip elsewhere too...posterior pelvic floor, inner thighs, belly... Check in with your posture daily. How do you hold your pelvis?
