Grow The City

Private enterprise works to grow and provide services and products to enhance the lives of their customers. Socialist governments work to do exactly the opposite.

It appears to be obvious that it is time for an Airport Authority. We have a very busy City Airport in Medicine Hat, with many businesses and individuals relying on an open airport. It would seem to me that City Hall knows as much about running an airport as they do with green energy projects and energy exploration. The Mayor and long time City Council members failed the people of Medicine Hat by wasting money on failed green energy projects, they failed us on the Manyberries... energy deal, they failed us on transit, and they are failing us on this seemingly infantile decision to close our airport for almost an entire month. It is ignorance, or is everyone just too busy with their full time jobs to pay attention to running a City. The good, pro business guys on council Councillor Jim Turner, Kris Samraj, and Phil Turnbull, all three of you please put a stop to this history on incompetence and get this city on a different track. Just imagine if BATUS didn’t renew - then would the Council give a #2? See more
