As provincial restriction loosen, you will start to see changes to our program! Each week we will end delivery to one area and connect clients to different supports in their neighbourhood. This week - North End! We encourage everyone North to connect with the North End Food Bank and if mobility/transportation is a barrier you can call the YMCA Home Delivery Program at 506-646-2387.

We are eight weeks in and incredibly proud of our impact. To date, we have been able to provide 1208 households to people in need during the COVID-19 crisis. A huge thank you to the SJ business community and funders for making our program possible. When we started, we were a small group of not for profits and the idea of serving the entire Greater Saint John area for this length of time seemed daunting. Thankfully, Saint Johners responded in typical fashion; community/business leaders wrap their arms around our program to ensure that nobody would be left food insecure during this pandemic. Not only has your support fed hundreds o...f households but its pushed not for profits to collaborate and think out side of the box when it comes to food security. Last and certainly not forgotten, are the individual donors who have shown their support through Canada Helps, our Facebook Fundraiser, in form of gift cards and/or volunteered your time.
