We love personal stories! In thINK (read "think ink"): Chinese Calligraphy, Connoisseurship, and Collecting at the Asian Civilisations Museum we created an intimate and contemporary space for visitors to take a glimpse into the life of the man behind this incredible literati collection, get acquainted with the art of the brush, and reflect on issues such as how we reminisce, reflect, and remember. Don't miss your chance to get to know Dr Yuan Shao Liang - Museum collector,... lender and supporter of the Asian Civilisations Museum. Visit http://ow.ly/2BWk50DAPFW for info about the exhibition and tell us what you thINK. #thINKACM #AsianCivilisationsMuseum #ACM #ACMsg #culturesg #calligraphy #ink #chinesecalligraphy #storytelling #chineseart #museum #exhibitiondesign #design #gsmproject #collecting #gsmprojectsg # #

The exhibition spotlights the people behind the museum and their favourite ACM object and stories. The brief given to our Singapore team was to create a heartachingly beautiful exhibition that would be both reflective and hopeful during this trying time due to the pandemic. This is the fi...rst sight line we see upon entering the gallery. Try to spot GSM’s favourite object in the second image! (a jade mountain).
