3 different Ash bowls, 10 inch diameter. The non coloured bowl has silver gilt cream applied on the rim. Was turned and finished for a course offered by Martin Sabin-Smith of Hampshire Sheen. The reddish bowl was turned, carved, burnt and then dyed. The greenish bowl was turned with a dome shape on the back, then mounted on a vacuum chuck slightly offset to turn the front rim. Carved, burnt and dyed. Then mounted on a chuck to centre the bowl and the bowl shape on the top turned and finished. The carving and colouring was inspired by an online demo by Martin Sabin-Smith. Lots of fun, hope that people like the different treatments
