It's been unreal. We've been trying to come here and connect, but the words just wouldn't come out. Because the mind is spinning and time is flying, even though we are working fewer hours and have nowhere to go. It's the agony with the uncertainty of the future and the worries of the present. How to keep the business afloat, clients assisted, suppliers paid, while the family is safe and fed, the daughter is learning (and having a good time), the parents are sane (and still ...married!), and the COVID-19 at bay. After weeks engulfed within this "new normal," we're now relying on the resilience that's growing in all of us, and the sense of community, to come out and do our part. As our line of business is considered essential, we've been open since the Coronavirus outbreak, adapting the routine to offer you a safe environment and service: working with reduced hours, doors shut, by appointment only. Our facilities are cleaned daily; gloves and hand sanitizers are available in the office for customers. At the shop, Derrick is working with gloves at all times, from pick up to delivery time. As for staff, we are a mom-and-pop shop with dad running the garage while mommy is working from home. To keep things simple and safe, we are not outsourcing or hiring for now. To help you to stay home, we are offering free car pick up and delivery within the GTA area*. We are also offering contactless invoicing and payments, accepting credit card payments over the phone and e-transfers. As a thank you for your service and support to our business, we are giving a $100 gas gift card to all transmission rebuilds done throughout April, May and June.
