Why Guatemala was already on the edge before COVID struck, now many are dying as they fall right off.

We’re so thankful for your support! We have resumed our stove building program for families most in need, and are able to continue our educational bursary program, as well as our micro loan program. Our partners are practicing Covid-19 safety protocols when entering Maya communities to reach out to families and build stoves. Covid-19 cases are once again increasing, and unemployment remains high. This year's harvest has not gone well due to alternating periods of drought and heavy rain. The corn blight is ongoing and has devastated corn production. Schools are still closed and unfortunately long-distance education is not practical. There is no governmental plan for vaccine distribution. See more
