Signing his first ever international contract, Guelph United have signed Brit Harvey Marchant to our 2021 squad! Coming to us all the way from Guildford, U.K., Marchant has proven himself to be a capable, dynamic, and strong leader. Playing most recently for the EFL side Woking FC, Harvey began pro footy with the EFL's AFC Wimbledon academy, wearing the arm band four years in a row for AFC-W. Taking a year off from the pro scene brought him to Canada to play for Coach Mason at the University of Guelph and now Mason has brought Marchant along for the ride with Guelph United! Guelph's Gander just rolls of the tongue doesn't it? We are so excited to announce that Guelph United has signed Colin Gander for the 2021 season! Time and time again, Gander has shown his talents across North America! Signing with the TFC Academy when he was just 13 years old, where he would be prepped for League1 play under TFC3. As the league which TFC3 played in folded, Gander was picked up by the Missouri State Bears D1 team. His play in L1O and in the NCAA D1 has garnered enough attention to his name that he was considered for the 2021 Canadian Premier League draft!
