Our annual Book Fair is going virtual this year! Starting Monday, April 19 you will be able to shop Scholastic, Usborne and Living Books from the comfort of your home. Each purchase you make gets us free books for the school library. It's an easy way to support the school and also encourage a love of reading with your children - win win!

Last February Mrs. Klassen's Grade 2/3 raised the most money as a class for our annual Skate-a-thon. Their prize was going to be an extra special field trip to Bingeman's Water Park - and then Covid happened and the trip was sadly canceled. We wanted to still do something special to acknowledge their amazing fundraising efforts. Yesterday they were all gifted with matching red (for first place!) GCCS hoodies with their name and a skate on the sleeve. This was a suprise to these students and they were so excited to receive them!

There's no shortage of Christmas spirit in here!

It's Deck Yourself Day! Our students are certainly festive!

Bob Moore, GCCS's former principal, came by today to pick up all the tooth brush and tooth paste donations! Bob now works for HOPE House and was very thankful for our school community's generous support!

We remember - we thank God for our country and for all those who have served and continue to serve our country.

Our students celebrated Remembrance Day in their individual classes but we were still able to come together as a community to say We Remember with a poppy Canadian Flag. #weremember
