MACARTHUR PARK CHRIS ROBERTSON, CHRIS PANNELL AND TIM PANNELL This one has been a real labour of love for me. It’s on everyone’s favourite CD, we had it in th...e car, and I always hoped one day I’d get to play it. What a sublime piece of brass writing I’m joined on this by Chris Robertson on Euph and Chris Pannell on Horn. Chris Robertson not only plays the Euphoniums with his usual remarkable blend of technique and lyricism, but played all the bass parts at pitch, moving around double pedals with amazing power and agility. Chris Pannell. Well, just listen to those Horn and Baritone parts. As far as I’m concerned, he is unrivalled in both skill and style. I played the cornets and Drums. I’m very proud of this one, I had an absolute ball putting it together, and consider myself very lucky to be collaborating with such incredible players. We all hope you enjoy it.
