Let’s take the 14th of February as a day to forget about pandemics and colour coded zones. Let’s spend it dreaming of the special day that you have planned in 2021. Let’s remember that LOVE wins, that guest numbers are only numbers and that at the end of the day it’s about LOVE Wow! I can’t rave about Guelph Tent Rentals’ service enough. Laura and her team genuinely care about their clients and are beyond understanding throughout the entire process. Even through a pandemic! We initially booked our wedding with Laura for summer 2020 then COVID hit and it forced us to reschedule to 2021. Laura was there for us and reached out almost immediately to see how she could help us navigate the planning. Ultimately, we decided to reschedule for 2021 as we wanted to celebrate with all of our friends and family. Now here we are, almost a year into the pandemic and had to make the difficult decision to cancel our reception altogether. I reached out to Laura to advise her that we were going to have to cancel and without hesitation, she emailed back to express her sympathy and fully refunded our deposit. We faced many losses from other vendors whose simple response was that we were out of luck and they would not be helping at all. Understandably, the pandemic has been hard on the event industry, but the way Laura handled this situation was a true testament to the care this family business puts towards their couples. Throughout this entire ride, they worked with us to support decisions that made the most sense to us, not their bottom dollar. If you are looking for a company that truly cares for their clients, I strongly recommend Guelph Tent Rentals. They provide quality and care in their products and service from the beginning to end.

Where is the LOVE? Well, it’s all around, but more specifically right now it can be found at the newly opened @theloveactuallycollection . This show, curated by Toronto photographer @scarletoneill , is the fifth annual event showcasing #realwedding photos, this one from the #2020weddingseason. We were thrilled to see that @pureandlovelyphotography was included in this much coveted show! Now that the dust has settled on our crazy COVID wedding (never thought i'd have to say that), I wanted to take some time to reach out to our amazing vendors. Through it all Guelph Tents was BEYOND easy to work with. I have had a dream in my mind for a wedding since I was a little girl, with everything getting mixed up and re-arranged during COVID I didn't think it would happen, but we did it! From the beautiful dance floor, to the "Father of The Bride" Lighting, everything w...as absolutely stunning. I walked into our tent and my jaw dropped. I truly couldn't believe it was OUR WEDDING! Thank you for being part of our dream, and for allowing us to be flexible with things right up until the day before we said I do. I so appreciate everyone on your team making things come together so flawlessly. On behalf of Austin and I we would just like to so thank you times a million. C O V I D ~ 19 We have all read so much information about the pandemic. How to keep everyone safe, procedures that can be put in place and what to do and what not to do. We do not feel that a refresher is necessary. What we want to share instead is that right now, when things everywhere are uncertain, that we will be here for you, this season and next. Welcome to Wedding Season 2021! Yes, I know it is January 4, but for us, the planning and strategizing has already begun and if you are getting married this year, you too have been in the thick of details, probably for some time now. If you are newly engaged or have been engaged for some time and this is your year, it is time to get your details in place. Of course the most burning question from our clients is ‘how the heck do I plan a wedding when I have no idea of what the... season, the year or the future holds?’ Think of it this way, the way that I have personally decided to view it, if for just to keep my sanity. Really...really, we don’t ever know what is ahead for tomorrow, next week or the year ahead. It is just that now, globally, COVID ~19 has given us a named reason to question and worry about what our tomorrow will look like . You, me, all of us really didn’t know last year or the year before that either, we forged ahead with plans for celebration and happiness. I urge you to do the same now. Make your plans, make your reservations and book your venues, tents, caterers and if things need to be altered, then they need to be altered. 2020 held many challenges for us all. For our business and our family personally, there were some devastating events, honestly some were seriously tough to get through, but get through we did. As a business and a family, we laid low over the holiday season, both on social media and in real life. We took the time to reflect and heal and fill our wells for the year ahead. As in the quote above by @anthonybourdain ; in an ever changing world, to know something for sure is satisfying [and comforting]. I wish that he was still here as I think that his view on the world now would be satisfying [and comforting]. What we know for sure is that we are excited as committed to helping you curate your exceptional event. We are here for you, let’s connect.
