This post is to celebrate the work of three artists dear to my heart . Aria Evans @politicalmovement, has been involved in I:POLITICAL since the beginning. And despite some scary circumstances, we've found ways to remain working together. She created the original projections that were the spring board to the final designs I created. And also provided outside eye support as we were moving towards the livestream . Luke Garwood @hello_caller was working on amazing projections fo...r 'this place'. His work lifted the piece into new magical places . Xavier Pestana @xavier_pestana was originally our switcher for the live-stream. His role has shifted as we move forward and he will be doing editing of the footage we have . I am so thankful for all the work you have put into these pieces and can't wait to be back! . As some of you know, we were working really hard to bring two new works to life and on Tuesday we were supposed to announce our livestream... . But on Tuesday we received the news that the livestream had to be cancelled due to the latest stage of emergency . Not gonna lie, the disappointment is real... . But challenges are always opportunities for new discoveries. And I have to say, despite the news, I am feeling very proud of what we accomplished as a team. We squeezed one week worth of work in a 14 hour day, and we were able to shoot amazing footage of my latest work I:POLITICAL. . Because of that, the next posts will celebrate the amazing team I have . I want to start by dedicating this post to 4 very important people: Sophia Fabiano (technical director), @jamesdangerdancer (stage manager and set designer) and @emilietrimbeedesigns (lighting designer), and @andrea.pestanaa (Producer). You folks are incredible. What we were able to accomplish is mind-blowing and the best outcome for a very situation. James, you learned a full 40 min show in less than half a day worth of work. Emilie your designs look amazing even tho we did levels and cues at the same time. Andrea your support coordinating the mayhem is invaluable. And Sophia, well you are a a god sent motherf&#($ boss!!
