How do you deep breathe? From your mouth or your nose? Turns out if you are breathing from your mouth you are activating the sympathetic nervous system and chest breathing. Which ends up not being relaxing or deep. You need to be breathing from your nose to be breathing with your diaphragm. Breathing with your diaphragm also activates your sympathetic nervous system which is relaxing! Happy breathing. You have been doing this entire time!
