Lashing & tensioning the warp: An informal how-to...that has been a game-changer for lots of folks! You can do this at both the warp beam AND the cloth beam end...s of the loom. *** Share as you wish: all my posts are public. *** Two things (I answer these questions a lot): 1) I no longer use a netting shuttle, since I kept giving them away. I use anything I can find to wind the lashing cord around, like a pencil. :) 2) I also want to say here that I lash with linen cord, 4-ply when I have it, but anything that is strong and won't stretch is great. It is nice if it also will hold a knot well so it doesn't untie itself at either end.
