As of November 30, Service Canada will reopen their Appointment System for scheduling biometrics appointments online: Services are by appointment only through... the System, there are no walk-in appointments available at Service Canada locations. Clients who have not been contacted by a Service Canada officer should use the tool to schedule their own appointment at the Service Canada location closest to them, as stated in the Biometrics Instruction Letter (BIL). Permanent residents who have not enrolled their biometrics within the past ten years are required to make a biometrics appointment to complete their application. The HLCA is looking to hire an volunteer who would be responsible for overseeing and supervising the ice shack from Dec. 21, 2020 to Feb. 19, 2021. The requirem...ent would be 15 hrs/week (flexible schedule to be negotiated) and you would be responsible for opening/closing, cleaning, and overall supervision of the shack. The position is volunteer but will receive an honorarium which is equal to $10/hr or a max of $1,350 (9 weeks x 15 hrs x $10). We are looking to fill this position of Shack Supervisor immediately. I am humbled and honoured to be chosen as the next Mayor of Regina. I love this City and I will work every day to ensure that the trust placed in me is upheld a...s I serve the citizens of this great City. I would like to thank all of you that voted and know that I am grateful for your confidence and support. We need strong leadership to drive our COVID-19 recovery and ensure we are prepared to deal with the opportunities that will come our way. I believe that with the right attitude, Regina will not only recover, but thrive. Along with your newly elected council, I will provide strong leadership, as well as the energy, passion, skills and new ideas needed to lead city hall and be a catalyst of change. I would like to thank Mr. Fougere for his many years of service. With over 23 years of service on City Council, his dedication to public service is to be acknowledged and commended. I would also like to thank all the outgoing councillors for their dedication to the community. Public office is a calling, and we are very fortunate to have so many answer that call. I am extremely fortunate to have a diverse, dedicated and talented group of people working on my campaign. These volunteers were the heart and soul of my campaign and I am grateful to them all.
