Street Name Announcement We would like to congratulate the Woodstock Punjabi Community. With the efforts of Kingsmen Group Inc. and the members of Working Committee, the street name where the Gurudwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha Woodstock will be situated is named as KHALSA DRIVE. This has been approved by the Woodstock City Council. We would like to thank all Woodstock Punjabi community members who signed the supporting letter, for the Street Name. ... We would like to thank Mayor of City of Woodstock Mayor Trevor Birtch and Woodstock City Council(Jerry Acchione Connie Lauder Ron Fraser Mark Schdenberg Deb Tait Sandra Talbot) for putting their collective efforts in approving the street name KHALSA DRIVE. Waheguru G Ka Khalsa Waheguru G Ki Fateh As you all know that phase 5 of Kingsmen Group was approved by City of Woodstock, so going forward Gurudwara Working committee had a meeting with owner of kingsmen Group Mr. Matthew Castelli, Andrea Castelli and Mr.Bruno to discuss the steps towards the construction of Gurudwara Sahib. We had great meeting with the team and we discussed several things from architect, planning, design and future vision of Gurudwara Sri Guru Singh Sabh...a Woodstock. There are several queries in our mind and hope you all have the same as well. So, to discuss all the queries and get the suggestions from the community about the future vision of Gurudwara Sahib, General Body Meeting of members who have gurudwara sahib membership will be called in coming weeks. We will give two weeks advance notice to members and will request the members to attend this important meeting.
