Our first ever IBD friendly recipe video is being posted today on our social media platforms! We will be remaking a recipe from our weekly IBD friendly recipe posts, this time it is banana apple pancakes! C&C wants to provide students and community members easy, healthy, and inexpensive recipes for a sensitive gut. We understand the difficultly of nutrition and IBD, so we want to help make your meals easier. This recipe is gluten-free, grain-free, paleo, dairy-free, vegan, and most importantly very IBD friendly. Our IBD recipe remakes will happen once a month and all of our recipes will be incorporated into our IBD friendly cookbook, which will be sold in April 2021! Check out our video at 12 pm and send us a photo of your remade version, or any other IBD friendly recipes you recreate.
Thank you so much!
Fall semester is off to a good start! Thank you to everyone who donated to Crohn's and Colitis research by participating in our Pumpkin Carving Kit sale. We were able to raise over $200! The C&C team is extremely grateful for the success of this event, and we hope to see even more participation going forward! This week, until Halloween, we will be hosting a Pumpkin Carving Competition on Instagram, and all you have to do to enter is send us a picture of you're carved pumpkin to get featured on Instagram. The winner will be chosen by the public on October 30th and they win Crohn's and Colitis merch along with Halloween goodies. Happy carving!
