I’m at a loss for words to express my gratitude the way I’d truly like to. I am absolutely blown away by the generosity of so many of you! Her bills ended up coming to a total of $2528.92... you helped me raise $1072.00!! What feels like a ton of weight has been lifted from my shoulders, cutting that bill almost in half I am beyond grateful to be able to tell you that Littlefoot has been doing so well, almost back to her wild little self. Here is a picture from a recent job showing the problem and solution we run into when installing longer pieces of eavestrough. On longer pieces, in order to maintain the correct amount of slope ensuring proper drainage, the eavestrough does not always stay underneath the drip edge. As you can see in the top picture, this will lead to water leaking between the back of the eavestrough and fascia which can then lead to dangerous ice build up on the ground as well as interior da...mage if left long enough. When we run into this problem we install flashing to extend the drip edge ensuring the water is directed into the eavestrough as intended - shown in the bottom picture.
