Introducing Adoptable Gemma Gemma is an energetic and inquisitive little rabbit who enjoys bouncing around the living room and finding little crannies (behind the couch or under the bed) to burrow herself into. She is a very sweet rabbit who is affectionate after she gets to know her people and enjoys cuddle time on the couch with pets under her chin. She is also quite friendly with well-behaved dogs and kids when not being chased. Her favorite foods are banana and apple al...though she is not very fussy with most healthy fruits and veggies. Gemma would do best in a space that allows for lots of running space as she is not suited to a life permanently caged. She is pretty well litter trained and so we keep the door to her cage open throughout the day when we are around so she can venture in and out when needed. If you are interested in Gemma, please fill out an application on our website. https://gvacrescue.com/?page_id=1226

Reintroducing the magestic Mr Pig who has since become well adjusted to a life indoors. Mr. Pig enjoys time on the grass in his run. He seemed to be very comfortable outside understandably. He is liking his honey stick treats. He isn't a big fan of chew toys but does love fresh hay everyday. He is so sweet and quiet. Not a nocturnal guy like some guineas. He doesn't mind being held for short periods by adults but the little hands don't feel secure enough for him. Maybe ...laps while seated on the floor, with some supervision. He has an instinct to climb and would do well with a little guinea obstacle course in his run to keep him active and happy. He likes to be talked to every day and sits at eye level with us while we have our meals or work at the table. He has squeaked some happy noises when he hears shaking of what sounds like food pellets to him. Mr Pig would be well suited to a home with or without children but likes to be near everyone and is very curious. He is currently a single pig but could be bonded with another. Please fill out an application on our website if you are interested in adopting Mr Pig

Update! That was fast you wonderful human beings! Hammie has found a home! Courtesy Post: Though he is a bit wobbly on his feet, this little man is full of love. He is extremely hand friendly and will often give little kisses on your hand. He loves to snuggle down in his bedding but will poke his head out when you talk to him. Unfortunately he was found abandoned next to a dumpster and appears to have some stability issues while walking around. But this doesn’t stop him f...rom crawling through tunnels and spending time in his wheel. He is most likely middle aged or older and just needs a quiet safe place to spend the rest of his days. He is a dwarf Hamster. Please contact Victoria Animal Control Services to adopt this cute little fellow!

Update: Adopted! Introducing George (tabby) and Ringo (black w/white)! These two little love bugs are brothers. They are approx 6 months old and will need to go to a home together. They would be perfect for a home that wants very affectionate and cuddly kittens. Ringo is more outgoing of the two and George takes a little while to get comfortable but once he does, the two of them will follow you around and wake you up in the morning with lots of kisses and purring. ... The boys would be okay with a cat savvy dog, they got quite comfortable with their foster brother (a big husky/boxer) but don’t love to be chased. They love toys that make noise and will spend hours batting around toys. You can meet Ringo and George at Bosley's Eagle Creek and submit at application on our website if you are interested in adopting the pair.

Introducing Adoptable Bravo and Sierra! These two 3.5 year old darlings are looking for their forever home together. Bravo is an adorable tabby brother who loves to be near you and sit on your lap if you’ll let him. Once he is comfortable with you, you can carry him like a baby and he will relax into the nook of your arm and rest his head on your chest. He has a sweet little chatter when he wants on your lap or is excited about playing. ... Sierra is the smaller sister who can be more tentative in who she connects with. She seems to prefer males and will follow them around the house and sleep nearby as they work. She often gets so excited about getting pets she will roll right off the chair! She will definitely let you know if she wants to know where you are or wants into a room. She doesn’t like getting sprayed with a bit of water, though, and is trainable. Both kitties can be quite active and love to be ‘run’ around the house, chasing a string or toy. They will let you know when they want to play, and when they are done and ready to rest. They will occasionally play independently together and chase each other or even drag a string around the house in their mouths. While Bravo will push Sierra’s boundaries at times (as all brothers do), they are bonded and love napping next to each other and taking turns playing with their humans. They will meow for each other if they have lost track of where they are. If you are interested in adopting this sweet pair, please fill out an adoption application form on our website.
