Mesmerizing spirals. For me, it’s the beautiful mark of a wheel thrown vessel. The textural, symmetrical and spiralling lines are one of the elements I love about throwing on the wheel. ... An element often found somewhere on my work. This is a commissioned piece underway. Thrown to the sway of Loreena Mckennitt’s Marco Polo.

These leaf impressed porcelain stars are simply earthen fired to retain their brilliant white, matte finish. A worthy exchange for the luminous yet warmer white of the twice fired porcelain. You’ll find these and others suspended amidst the porcelain washed stars in the shop window very soon.
