October 2012 Gwen’s Teas opened its doors on St. Paul Street. What a journey it has been! While I would love to keep it going, my health has become such that it’s time for me to focus my energy and strength on my family and friends and enjoying every moment of life left to me. Thank you to everyone for their fabulous support over the years, you’ve been so generous and kind, you’ve made being in business a pleasure everyday. Update on hours and whatnot. I’m sure many of you are wondering when I will resume regular hours. The short answer is, I’m not sure. Summer was really difficult healthwise, my tumours are not responding to chemo, so I find myself in limbo for now treatment wise. I’ve lost 25 pounds in under 3 months and my energy levels are very low. I will do my best to keep the current hours as posted but know some days I cannot make it all the way until 6.
