Haas Physical Therapy 29.10.2020

Moving day is coming up quick! Haas Physical Therapy will be up and running in Emerald Park this November!!!! I have been getting multiple questions on how to book in going forward. Clients can continue to call the Melville clinic (306-728-4466) to book follow-ups and initial assessments into the Emerald Park Clinic up until the end of October. Clients may also book both initial assessments and follow ups online by clicking the book now button on my facebook page or website (haasphysicaltherapy.ca). The staff at Dash & Reed are not yet connected to my software and therefore are unable to book into my schedule yet..... I do hope to have them up and running soon and will announce when this is the case!!

Telerehabilitation is an option I am considering. Of course, face to face interaction is most beneficial; however, with the current restrictions video appointments could be made available. Would you find telerehabilitation beneficial?

Can't work: may as well learn!! As some of you may know; for the past month I have been engulfed in a taking 2 different courses both involving approaching pain with a biopsychosocial approach; as opposed to a biomedical approach. Learning about sensitization of the central nervous system and the importance of down-regulation of the nervous system has my brain spinning in circles.... in a good way. Can't wait to get back into the clinic and use some of this stuff...... but for now; I have a chance to really comb through it and get all my new information ready! Here's a very interesting video; challenging perceptions is good!!

Spending my Monday nights; enrolled in a course on the biopyschosocial approach to pain. I am only one class in and already excited to start incorporating this into my practice! Incredibly fascinating thus far; challenging my thought process on some pretty solid beliefs and really getting those brain cells firing. #alwayslearning, #changeisgood
